We had nice spring weather this past weekend so Spring Training has officially started.
Calling all furry and chubby ponies in need of exercise and a refresher course in trotting, cantering, bending, bathing, standing quietly in Xties, and...why not jumping too!
Blue has been put in the boys paddock for the 1st time since he arrived, a month ago, so he is meeting the herd today.
Testing the waters, and learning about herd hierarchy, so far so good.
He is being cautious not to irritate but he managed to get on the wrong side of Valentin already.

It's a few hours later...and after a few chases around the paddock and mean looks, Blue couldn't take the pressure anymore and let himself out of the boys paddock bringing down 2 rails.
I found him running free around the farm, he came to meet me and was very pleased to see me with a lead rope in hand. He is back with the pony girls.
The funny thing was..the dogs inside the house let me know the pony was loose outside.
I just love the farm life!
